Privacy at Wishmas

What Wishmas stores
Wishmas stores the information needed to run private family gift groups: your account details, profile name, group memberships, wishlists, gift claims, invitations, and Secret Santa assignments. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not visible to Wishmas administrators.
How information is used
Your information is used only to operate Wishmas, keep lists and claims coordinated, send account emails, and protect the service. Wishmas does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Product links
When you import or refresh an item, its retailer URL is fetched so Wishmas can try to read product details and price information. The result may be cached to improve reliability. Wishmas does not make purchases or send your family details to the retailer.
Who can see what
People see information according to their family and gift-group memberships. Wishmas hides claim details from an adult wishlist owner and their spouse. Secret Santa assignments are limited to the assigned giver and authorized exchange managers. This is access control, not end-to-end encryption, so trusted service administrators may access data when necessary to operate or secure the app.
Service providers
Wishmas relies on Vercel for hosting, Supabase for its database and authentication, Resend for account email, and Google when you choose Google sign-in. Those providers process the minimum information needed to deliver their part of the service.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, export, or delete your account data. Some claim or audit records may be retained when needed to keep group history accurate, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
